Monthly IBM Cognos Lunch & Learn Webinars in 2024

For 2024, Attain Insight and IBM have been hosting monthly online IBM Cognos Analytics Lunch and Learn webinars, to help Analytics in the Capital user group members stay ahead of the game and discover the secrets to turning data into actionable insights.

This is the first time this kind of online offering has been available to members.

Here are the topics for the monthly sessions:

1. IBM Cognos Analytics 12 overview (January 11, 2024): Learn to use the new guided analytics experiences within Cognos Analytics 12: Model data, use the analytics assistant, and create your own shareable dashboards with your data.

2. Intro to building dashboards in IBM Cognos Analytics (February 8, 2024): Learn to build dashboards to display KPIs and visualize trends and relationships in your data. Let the Cognos assistant build for you or build your own custom displays.

3. Intro to data modeling in IBM Cognos Analytics (March 14, 2024): Learn to build a data model for use in Cognos Analytics dashboards.  Join multiple sources, create new KPIs and measures, and make the data friendly for use by your teams.

4. Intro to reporting in IBM Cognos Analytics (April 11, 2024) - Need to build something more advanced to distribute data around your organization? Attend this session to get an introduction to building highly customizable reports to be distributed to a wide audience.

5. June Webinar POSTPONED due to Spring User Group Meeting

6. Cognos Administration Tips & Techniques from IBM Product Management (July 11, 2024) - In this session, you will hear from Greg McDonald, IBM Cognos Analytics Lead Product Manager, and learn advanced tips and techniques for effective Cognos administration, and gain practical insights to streamline your administrative tasks and improve system performance.

8. Data security in IBM Cognos Analytics (September 12, 2024) - Learn how to secure permissions on objects, assign user capabilities, and implement row-level security filters on connections in data modules.
