Executive Board

Current Executive Board members are from the following organizations:

The Executive Board consists of a maximum of 10 members. To minimize conflict of interest, Executive Board members may only be drawn from current IBM Cognos customers. 

Executive Board Members who retire from their respective organizations may remain as voting executive board members until replaced by their organization, in order to ensure board continuity.  

Executive board members who have been replaced by their organizations may continue in a volunteer capacity and on a non-voting basis where approved by voting members of the board.

Since 2012, Attain Insight Solutions Inc., an IBM Business Partner, maintains the administration of the National Ottawa IBM Cognos User Group for the  Executive Board, in addition manages the website, membership, meetings, events and associated costs with this group. 

Individuals affiliated with vendors, or, who are independent consultants, are not eligible to join the Executive Board, but may be invited by the User Group to participate and benefit from events. 

Consistent with normal practices committee members who might benefit from the outcome of committee activities, decisions or discussions are asked to disclose their position and excuse themselves. 

The Executive are always looking for people who might be willing to serve on the Board. Time commitment is approximately 1hr/month, in addition to time needed to review email correspondence or pre-User Group meeting preparation. We strive to meet in person but make acceptations as needed via conference calls. If you would like to offer your assistance or services in a variety of capacities, please send an email to:
